Short study and observation of the “mountains sentries”.

Guided tour of the Geological Museum of the Dolomites in Predazzo: a long history millions of years marked by a tropical sea, teeming with life and spectacular volcanic eruptions
Tuesday
11.00 am
Meeting point at the Passo Feudo mountain hut (at 10.45 am): let’s pick up rocks with Rocky the Rock. Amazing meeting with the famous star “Rocky the Rock” who will reveals the secrets of rocks and minerals along a short walk on the Geological trail. Period: 5.07 - 06.09.
Wednesday
9.00 am
Hike with Alpine guide to the mountain lakes Lusia and on top of Mount Bocche. Meeting point: Location Castelir-chair lift station Period: 29.06 - 31.08.
9.30-12.00 am
Searching for the “Sound Trees”: Walk in the “Forests of Violins”, famous for the quality of its resonance spruce, used today as in the past for the construction of soundboards, pianos and string instruments.
Meeting point: Hotel Bicocca at Paneveggio. Program starts on July 14

Once upon a time…
Elves, witches, kings and queens who live in the woods and on the mountains of these valleys among legend and reality. The narration of a dolomites fairy tale re-played then by kids who wear masks made by themselves using cardboard, leaves, sticks and a lot of fantasy.
For kids from 4 to 8 years old. Period: 6.07 - 24.08

Nordic Walking in Location Castelir. with possibility for lunch in a mountain restaurant (optional) Meeting point: Location Castelir, chair lift station. Period: 30.06 - 01.09
10.00-12.00 am
Exploring the history and the agriculture of mountain farmers. Visit of the local Museum"Nonno Gustavo" with workshop – game for children in the courtyard of the museum
2.30-5.00 pm
Environmental workshop “Forest: who lives in the wood?” Workshop along the wood trails: observations and research to discover the secrets of the forest and the animals which live there… In case of bad weather the activity will take place at the Visitors Centre.
For kids from 6 to 10 years.

Day hike with Alpine Guide to Mount Viezzena. Meeting point: Location Castelir, chairlift station. Period: 9.07. – 10.09.
4.30-6.30 pm
Nordic Walking hike with instructor: ”A privileged balcony of the Dolomites Pale di San Martino”. Meeting point: Tourist Board Bellamonte Reservations: till day before, 6 pm

(Hikings with Mountain Guides no reservations required)

except for the use of lifts.
The mentioned prices for the hikes and the workshops in the
National Park Paneveggio are valid only for guests of

at the cash desk.
