Biography of the author:
Giuseppe Dellasega was born in Predazzo (TN) on January 5th, 1955. He began practising cross country skiing as a child, among the ranks of the U.S. Dolomitica. As an adult, he joined the prestigious skiing group of the Financial Police ‘Sciatori Fiamme Gialle Predazzo’, specialising in cross country skiing and orienteering.
In 15 years of competition, he has taken part in 11 orienteering and ski-orienteering world championships, winning the title of Outright Italian Champion 17 times.
With his map and compass, he has competed in forests all over the globe. He is particularly proud of his 18th place finish in the Fiemme and Fassa Marcialonga.
